Electus Management Group ("Electus", "we", "us") operates electusmg.com. This policy explains what information the website handles. It covers this website only. It does not cover the separate privacy practices of the medical practices in our network, each of which maintains its own notices.

The short version

Our informational pages collect nothing. There are no analytics, no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, and no cookies. We do not sell or share personal information. The one place data is collected is the appointment booking page, and that is handled by our scheduling provider rather than by this website.

Information the website collects

Browsing our informational pages

The home, about, services, contact, provider network, and brochure pages make no third-party requests and set no cookies. Your browser stores a single preference locally, remembering whether you chose the light or dark appearance. That preference stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested, which may include IP address, browser type, and the page requested. These are used to operate and secure the site.

Booking an appointment

The booking page embeds a scheduling tool provided by IntakeQ. Any information you enter there, including your name, contact details, and reason for visit, is collected and processed by IntakeQ on behalf of the treating practice under that practice's own privacy practices, not by this website. Please review IntakeQ's privacy policy.

The booking tool loads services from Stripe, Stax Payments, Square, Google Maps, and Datadog, and two of those set cookies used for fraud prevention and bot detection. These are set by those providers, not by us, and are not used for advertising.

Contacting us by email

Our contact page lists departmental email addresses. If you write to us we receive whatever you choose to send, and we use it only to respond and to carry out the request.

Please do not include detailed medical information in an email. Ordinary email is not a secure channel. For medical records requests, send only what is needed to identify the request, and we will tell you how to transmit anything sensitive.

How information is used

• To coordinate scheduling, records, billing, and expert services between law firms and our affiliated practices
• To operate, secure, and improve the website
• To comply with legal obligations, including responses to subpoenas and lawful requests

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information
• We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising
• We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this website
• We do not use information you send us to build marketing profiles

Disclosure to others

We disclose information only to the affiliated practice or department needed to fulfil your request, to service providers who operate systems on our behalf under contract, and where required by law. Where we handle protected health information on behalf of a medical practice, we do so under the terms of a written agreement with that practice.

Retention

We keep correspondence and records only as long as needed for the purpose they were provided, and for any period required by law or professional obligation, after which they are deleted or destroyed.

Your rights in California

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no opt-out is required, but the other rights are available on request.

To make a request, email anna@electusmg.com. We will verify your identity before acting, and will respond within the time the law allows. An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Other websites

This site links to third-party sites and embeds a third-party scheduling tool. Their privacy practices are their own and are not covered by this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be reflected there.
