Accessibility statement.
What we have built, what we have measured, and where we know the gaps are.
Last updated August 6, 2026
Our aim
We want this website to be usable by everyone, including people who navigate with a keyboard, use a screen reader, need larger text, or prefer reduced motion. We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our reference standard.
What has been done
These are measures actually implemented and verified on this site, not aspirations:
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on each interactive element
- A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight to the main content
- Text contrast has been measured against the WCAG minimums in both the light and dark themes
- The site respects the operating system's reduced-motion setting, and disables animation when it is on
- Interactive controls meet the recommended minimum touch target size
- Images carry text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
- Headings follow a logical order, and page regions are marked up semantically
- Both a light and a dark theme are available, and the site remembers your choice
- Layouts reflow without horizontal scrolling from small phones through to large displays
Known limitations
We would rather name these than imply the site is perfect.
- The appointment booking tool is provided by a third party and embedded in our booking page. We can style it, but we do not control its underlying markup or keyboard behaviour. If you have difficulty booking online, call or email us and we will schedule for you.
- The digital brochure is a page-turning presentation of a printed document. A plain PDF of the same content is available for download from that page, which will generally work better with assistive technology.
- Some third-party content embedded on the booking page may not meet the same standard as the rest of the site.
Alternatives
If any part of this website prevents you from doing something, we will help you do it another way. Every service offered online is also available by email or telephone, and no one will be disadvantaged for using a different channel.
Reporting a problem
If you encounter a barrier, please tell us. Email anna@electusmg.com and include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using if you know it. We aim to respond within one business day and will work with you on a solution.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time exercise. We review the site as it changes and welcome feedback that tells us where we have fallen short.
